BELLAGIO
Few places are as romantic as Bellagio.
Called the “Pearl of the Lake”, Bellagio is situated in a privileged position on Lake Como, on the tip of the promontory that separates the lake into two branches, forming the Como branch westwards and the Lecco branch eastwards. It is the perfect place to enjoy the lake's famous panorama.
Bellagio is a strategic starting point for visiting the entire lake and from here, thanks to its efficient public transport, which includes boats, ferry and hydrofoil, you can visit the most romantic and inspiring parts of Lake Como.
TREMEZZO
Tremezzo is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Lake Como, situated on the western shore of the lake, just in front of Bellagio, with a stunning view of the mountains. Villa Carlotta is the main attraction with its splendid botanical gardens and a museum boasting works by Canova, Thorvaldsen and Hayez.
LENNO
The village of Lenno is situated on the western branch of Lake Como. It enjoys a privileged position surrounded by luxuriant vegetation and bathed by calm water.
The sumptuous Villa del Balbianello is in Lenno and is one of the most magnificent villas on the lake, famous for its gardens and for being the setting
of one of the most memorable movie scenes ever. George Lucas chose this villa to film the Star War’s Episode II - Attack of the Clones.
VARENNA
Varenna is a small village lying on a promontory along the eastern shore of Lake Como, opposite Menaggio and Bellagio. There is a wide variety of beautiful hikes
around Varenna: the views are simply stunning!
Main attractions are the relaxing gardens of Villa Cipressi and Villa Monastero.
CERNOBBIO
The small town of Cernobbio is encircled by elegant villas set in the surrounding green hillside. The picturesque lanes of the historic centre are lively with
exclusive shops and gourmet venues, while the sunny lake piazza is enhanced by an art-nouveau bridge.
The Villa Erba exhibition centre and The 5-star Villa d'Este (one of "The Best Hotels in the World") attract elite tourism from all over the world.
MENAGGIO
Menaggio is the main town on the western shore, it's an attractive town and not as touristy as Bellagio and Varenna. The heart of the town is its historic
center, with the pedestrian zone around the lake surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques.
Traces of its mediaeval past can be seen in the remains of the castle and the sculptures adorning the old houses.

The territory of Lake Como is an area full of history and nature and with the unspoilt beauty of its landscape, the area retains its precise identity which
distinguishes it from the rest of the lake.

How to get to Lake Como
Guests traveling to your wedding will find Lake Como is easily accessible from Milan and Switzerland via train and is served by three airports. Transport around
the lake includes taxis, rental cars, and by boat and ferry on the lake.
By plane: nearest airports are Malpensa, Linate and Orio Alserio Airport. From the airport, you can reach Milano by train or by car/taxi.
By train: Cadorna and Centrale stations of Milano are very well connected to Lake Como by a cheap train service.
By car: coming from Milan you should follow the Milano-Como highway to Como.
Lake Como is not only a beautiful location; it is also a perfect base for you to visit as many places as possible during your stay in Lombardy. The Swiss border
is only 10-15 minutes from Como. Verona and Venice can be reached in approximately 2-3 hours by car and lets not forget the shoppers... Milan is less than one hour by train.
