The Emerald of Tremezzo
The Emerald of Tremezzo (Villa Carlotta) is famous both for its art collections housed inside, and for its vast botanical gardens.
The Villa, built in Baroque style in the early 1700’s, is at the top of a beautiful terraced garden filled with over 500 species of flowering plants.
The Villa allows a view of the Bellagio peninsula and the mountains surrounding the lake.
The Lake Como wedding celebration can be performed on the Camellie terrace overlooking the lake
or in one of the stunning ceremony rooms with a magical atmosphere.
After the Lake Como wedding ceremony, the guests have the opportunity to arrange a small
aperitivo directly at the Villa before reaching the Lake Como wedding reception venue.
Ceremonies: civil, symbolic, Protestant and other non-Catholic religions.
Receptions: wedding receptions are not possible, only small aperitifs.
Capacity: up to 130 guests.
Boat access: the Villa has a boat port directly outside.
Accommodation: a selection of hotels is available in the nearby towns.
Time: no legal ceremonies on Sunday.
Music: classical music during the ceremony.
Notes: the Villa is open to the public daily but the terrace area and the wedding ceremony room will be close to the public during the ceremony. Fresh petals only may be thrown outside the Villa..
